Occupy Wall Street - Day 2

So now protesters are getting arrested for not dispersing.. Where's the illegality in that?? Surely we have a right to stand anywhere we like with whoever we like? Outside banks, insurance brokers, skyscrapers, on parks and city squares? Well at least it isn't disheartening the protesters, as we close on the 5th week of demonstrations 10,000 people marched Manhattan through the night.
Reports are starting to come in of police also barricading off parts of Washington to the public. Stupid controllers imo, this is a PEACEFUL protest, WHY SO SERIOUS OBAMA??

Well lets hope that the snowball will keep rolling and we haven't peaked out already!

Also, get involved people, organisers are hoping for a repeat next week, there will surely be a demonstration in a city near you, usually close to banks and insurance brokers!

  5. I always wondered about that stuff. Right to peacefully assemble doesn't make sense when you need permits and other stuff to protest even on a sidewalk

  6. I'm impressed at the world wide attention the movement has been getting recently. It's picking up a lot of steam and it's only going to get bigger. Nice work.

  7. We've got Occupy Seattle going on around here! The police aren't giving protesters too much trouble aside from the occasional scuffle with a few guys, but that's to be expected. It's nothing like what was going on in NY or DC though.
